How do I create a wishlist?
Go to the Wishlists tab and tap the "+" button. Add items with names, descriptions, prices, links, and photos. You can set visibility for each item (private, friends only, selected contacts, or group).
How do I share my wishlist?
Open your Wishlists tab and tap the "Share" button. A unique link will be generated that you can copy or share via WhatsApp, Telegram, or Viber. Only items marked as "All Friends" visibility will be shown.
How do gift reservations work?
When someone visits your shared wishlist link, they can reserve items. The reservation is completely hidden from you — you won't see who reserved what or how many items are taken. Reservations expire after 14 days if not marked as bought.
Can the wishlist owner see what's been reserved?
By default, no — reservations are hidden from the wishlist owner: no status, counts, or names, so the gift stays a surprise. On Premium, you can optionally turn on seeing which of your wishes are reserved (Settings → Reservations) — but who reserved them is never shown.
What are Gift Rooms?
Gift Rooms let you coordinate gift-giving with friends for a specific person. You can chat, propose gift ideas, vote on them, assign who buys what, and track contributions. The Free plan includes 1 Gift Room; Premium and Family unlock unlimited rooms.
How do I invite someone to a Gift Room?
When creating or viewing a room, share the invite link with friends via WhatsApp, Telegram, or by copying the link. They'll need a WishlyBox account to join.
What subscription plans are available?
We offer Free, Premium ($5.99/mo), and Family ($14.99/mo) plans. Higher plans unlock more wishlists, events, gift rooms, and reminder slots. Annual billing saves you money.
What is the Family plan?
The Family plan lets you create a group of up to 6 members who all share Premium features. The group owner manages membership via an invite code. Additional slots can be purchased for $1.99 each.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings → Subscription and tap "Cancel". Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period. You can resubscribe at any time.
How do events and reminders work?
Create events (birthdays, holidays, anniversaries) with reminders. The Free plan includes up to 2 reminders per event; Premium and Family offer unlimited reminders, at custom dates and times. Events can be private, friends-only, or public.
Can I send invitations to events?
Yes! When viewing an event, tap "Send Invitation" to invite your contacts. You can include location, time, dress code, and RSVP deadline. Invitees can accept or decline.
How do I manage my privacy?
Go to Settings → Privacy. You can set your profile visibility (private, friends, public), manage blocked users, and control who can see your wishlists and events.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is protected with Row Level Security. You can only access your own data and data explicitly shared with you. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
How do I add friends?
Go to Friends tab → "+" button. You can search for users by name or share your invite link via WhatsApp/Telegram. When someone accepts your friend request, you can see each other's public wishlists.
What languages are supported?
WishlyBox supports 12 languages: English, Ukrainian, Hebrew, Russian, Spanish, German, French, Chinese, Arabic, Turkish, Portuguese, and Korean. Change your language in Settings.
