1. About This Disclosure

This disclosure is provided in accordance with FTC guidelines, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and applicable consumer protection laws. We believe in full transparency about how WishlyBox earns revenue.

2. How We Earn Revenue

Paid subscriptions — Subscriptions are our primary source of revenue.
Affiliate commissions — Product links in wishlists, in our gift guides on this website and in the "Ideas from WishlyBox" section of the app may include affiliate tracking. If a purchase is made through such a link, we may earn a small commission from the retailer.
No advertisements — WishlyBox does not display banner ads, pop-ups, or sponsored placements of any kind.

3. How Affiliate Links Work

Wishlists. When you add a product link to your wishlist:

We store the link exactly as you entered it.
When the link is opened from WishlyBox, we may add an affiliate tracking tag, so the visitor goes to the retailer's website via the affiliate link.
If they make a purchase, the retailer pays WishlyBox a commission (typically 1-8% of the sale price).

Gift guides. Our gift guides on wishlybox.com (Gift Ideas) and the "Ideas from WishlyBox" section of the app are written by our team. Each guide shows an affiliate disclosure before the first product, and product buttons are marked as sponsored links. Links point to ordinary retailer pages; depending on your country, we send you to a retailer that is available where you live. Some of these links earn us a commission, others do not. We choose products for readers first and do not pick products or retailers based on commission.

4. What This Means for You

Price is not affected — Affiliate commissions are paid by the retailer, not by you. The price you or your friends pay is never increased.
Your wishlist is not influenced — We never add, remove, or reorder items based on affiliate relationships.
Your saved link is not changed — We keep the original URL you added. An affiliate tag is only applied at the moment a link is opened from WishlyBox.

5. What We Never Do

Never add products or recommendations to your wishlists
Never display ads, pop-ups, or paid placements, and never accept payment to include a product in a gift guide
Never prioritise items or suggestions based on commission rates
Never share your personal data with retailers for marketing purposes
Never modify your wishlist content or order to benefit affiliate partners

6. Third-Party Retailers and Networks

WishlyBox may participate in affiliate programmes operated by networks such as Admitad (Mitgo), Awin, Skimlinks, Sovrn Commerce, and similar services. Each retailer linked from WishlyBox has its own privacy policy and terms of service. WishlyBox is not responsible for the products, services, or practices of third-party retailers.

Skimlinks. We may use Skimlinks, a service of Taboola Europe Limited, to turn some ordinary retailer links on our website into affiliate links and to record clicks on them. Skimlinks processes technical data such as your IP address, browser details and the pages you click from, and only sets its cookies if you allow them in our cookie banner. 7. Amazon Associates Disclosure

WishlyBox may participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and equivalent Amazon Associates programmes in other countries (including Amazon EU S.à r.l.). As an Amazon Associate, WishlyBox earns from qualifying purchases.

8. Your Choices

You are not required to use product links in your wishlist. You can add text-only entries without any URLs. Affiliate tracking only applies to items that contain product URLs. On our website you can decline non-essential cookies in the cookie banner.
