Cookie Policy
v1.1 — July 7, 2026
1. What Is a Cookie
A cookie is a small data file stored on your device when you visit a website. It helps the website work properly and improve your experience. Some cookies are necessary for the website to function, while others are only placed with your consent.
2. Consent
On the website (wishlybox.com): Non-essential cookies are only placed after you make a choice via the cookie banner. Consent is voluntary. The website may not function optimally if all non-essential cookies are rejected.
In the web app (app.wishlybox.com): Privacy-focused product analytics operate on the basis of legitimate interest. You can turn them off at any time in Settings → Privacy → Product analytics. See Section 8 for Do Not Track.
3. Necessary Cookies
These cookies are required for the Services to function and cannot be disabled.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Lifespan |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Supabase | Authentication session | Session duration |
4. Analytics Cookies (Optional)
These cookies help us understand how the Services are used. On the website, they are placed only with your consent. In the app, you can disable them in Settings → Privacy.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Lifespan |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Traffic analysis | 2 years |
| ph_* | PostHog | Feature usage analytics | 1 year |
| amp_* | Amplitude | Product analytics | 1 year |
5. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies may be set by third-party services embedded in the website. These are not controlled by us.
WishlyBox does not use marketing or retargeting cookies, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or advertising trackers. We do not serve ads.
6. How Long Are Cookies Stored
Cookie lifespan varies by purpose (see the tables above). The lifespan is measured from your most recent visit. Cookies are automatically deleted when they expire.
7. How to Manage Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Blocking necessary cookies may prevent the Services from working correctly.
8. Do Not Track
WishlyBox respects DNT (Do Not Track) and GPC (Global Privacy Control) browser signals. We treat these signals as an objection to analytics: when enabled, analytics are off by default unless you explicitly choose otherwise (via the cookie banner on the website or Settings → Privacy in the app).
9. Changes
This Cookie Policy may be updated from time to time. The current version is always available on the website.
10. Contact
If you have questions about our use of cookies, contact us at legal@wishlybox.com.
